Vision Of Hope baptist Mission Church is a non-denominational, full-Evangelical, Holy Spirit-filled, local assembly of Christians who meet in Nsangi, wakiso Uganda. Our church was birthed in prayer in the home of our Pastor, hence our name Vision Of Hope Baptist Mission Church (Proverbs 29:18). Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.
Vision Of Hope Baptist Mission Church was birthed in prayer in the home of Pastor Godfrey, hence our name Vision of Hope Baptist Mission Church. in mid-summer of 2016, and as friends and family began to visit, unplanned prayer meetings began to occur, resulting in healings and deliverance, LET US Go to VISION LAND and much encouragement to those present. Our Pastor hosted a housewarming party at the end of October, and the Vision Land PRAYER ground was officially dedicated to the Lord. Pastor Godfrey had asked God that the land would be a place where people would come and find the presence of the Lord, the love of God, and where prayer would be made and people would be blessed. He prayed this not realizing that a few months later, the land would become a sanctuary. march 6, 2017, was our first official service as a church.
We are a multi-ethnic body of believers who honor God as our Father, acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and embrace the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and the Spirit of God in our lives. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. We assemble twice a week to praise God, to pray together, to preach and teach the Scriptures, and to testify of what God has done in our lives.
The New Testament Church continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts 2:42). To this end, Vision of Hope Baptist Mission Church is committed to:
The weekly preaching, teaching, and study of the Bible. We believe that God speaks to us through His Word, that He has answers for us, so we seek to know what his Word says so that we can apply it to our lives!
We are committed to weekly fellowship with each other! We are a spiritual family, and, as such, we minister to each other, we care for each other, and we keep each other encouraged. Everything we do in House of Prayer is for the building of positive, loving relationships as brothers and sisters in Christ! The Church is about God and the people, -– so our relationships with Him and with each other are always a priority.
And Vision Of Hope Baptist Mission Church does not exist just for the members. Our hearts, and our Church, are open to whosoever will come….. Christians who are members of other houses who come to visit, Christians who are looking for a church home, those we invite to come worship and fellowship with us – whether they be friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers – those who may not know God yet but are seeking Him . . . . . our Church is a House of Prayer for all people !!!
Vision Of Hope Baptist Mission Church believes that, as Christians, we are called to be witnesses and ambassadors for Christ in this world, and we seek to do that with our lives, our words, and our actions. We are not just the church to each other, but we seek to be a church in the community. So we are building bridges and partnering with whoever we can to make a positive difference wherever we can – to the Seniors in Seaside, to the sick and shut-in, to the homeless, to individuals and families in need, and to the youth! Wherever God sends us, and whatever doors He opens for us, we want to make a difference for Him in the lives of others!!!
This is Our Story. Thank you for being a part of it, and thank you for letting us share it with you
